{"id":172,"date":"2025-10-17T15:35:50","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T13:35:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bhramarayoga.it\/?p=172"},"modified":"2025-10-20T16:46:56","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T14:46:56","slug":"stress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bhramarayoga.it\/en\/stress\/","title":{"rendered":"Stress is nice, isn't it?"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure class=\"wp-block-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"941\" height=\"1200\" src=\"https:\/\/bhramarayoga.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Edvard-Munch-The-Scream.jpg\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" style=\"object-fit:cover;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bhramarayoga.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Edvard-Munch-The-Scream.jpg 941w, https:\/\/bhramarayoga.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Edvard-Munch-The-Scream-235x300.jpg 235w, https:\/\/bhramarayoga.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Edvard-Munch-The-Scream-803x1024.jpg 803w, https:\/\/bhramarayoga.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Edvard-Munch-The-Scream-768x979.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 941px) 100vw, 941px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p><strong>Io soffro lo stress<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alzati, preparati e fai colazione in fretta e furia, sali in macchina, arriva in ufficio, lavora 8 ore almeno, vai a fare la spesa, vai in palestra, o, perch\u00e8 no, a fare yoga, torna a casa, cucina, pianifica le vacanze, dormi se ci riesci.<\/p>\n<p>Non so voi, ma io mi sono sentito <strong>stressato<\/strong> solo a scrivere questa sfilza di attivit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Eppure&#8230; eppure non sempre lo stress \u00e8 negativo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cosa \u00e8 &#8220;lo stress&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I primi a usare il termine stress furono gli ingegneri, per indicare per descrivere la deformazione di un materiale sotto l&#8217;effetto di una forza esterna.<span class=\"pjBG2e\" data-cid=\"78f3c855-3e01-47ba-a1a2-ea0f95eb48ab\"><span class=\"UV3uM\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Entr\u00f2 in ambito medico solo negli anni &#8217;30 quando fu usato per definire &#8220;la risposta non specifica dell&#8217;organismo a una richiesta di cambiamento.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Alla luce di questa definizione, si pu\u00f2 dire che il nostro corpo \u00e8 sottoposto a stress ogni singolo istante della nostra vita. Cambi di temperatura? Stress. Mantenere l&#8217;equilibrio? Stress. Sollevare un oggetto? Stress,<\/p>\n<p><strong>E cosa \u00e8 &#8220;l&#8217;omeostasi&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Il nostro corpo infatti si \u00e8 evoluto in modo da autoregolarsi per mantenere un ambiente interno stabile, nonostante le variazioni dell&#8217;ambiente esterno. Questa sua capacit\u00e0 \u00e8 chiamata <em><strong>omeostasi<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Quando l&#8217;omeostasi viene perturbata, il corpo attiva una serie di risposte fisiologiche e comportamentali, mediate dal sistema nervoso, endocrino e immunitario, per ristabilire l&#8217;equilibrio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grazie Stress, anzi grazie Eustress<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lo stress pu\u00f2 insomma \u00a0pu\u00f2 fornirci l&#8217;energia e la spinta necessarie per affrontare una situazione.<span class=\"pjBG2e\" data-cid=\"1a1ce9b2-9364-4ccc-b239-d59e56772934\"><span class=\"UV3uM\"> Senza di lui non potrebbe esserci crescita. Questo tipo di stress utile viene chiamato &#8220;eustress&#8221;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Durante l&#8217;attivit\u00e0 sportiva, per esempio, il corpo \u00e8 sottoposto a stress che si manifesta con sintomi come aumento della frequenza cardiaca e della respirazione, tensione muscolare e produzione di ormoni come il cortisolo.<\/p>\n<p>Anche quando pratichiamo le asana, il nostro corpo \u00e8 sottoposto a stress. Lo <a href=\"https:\/\/bhramarayoga.it\/en\/tecniche-di-stretching\/\">stretching<\/a>, per esempio, \u00e8 uno dei tanti modi che usiamo per deformare\u00a0 un materiale (il nostro corpo) sotto l&#8217;effetto di una forza esterna (spesso la gravit\u00e0). Grazie a questo stress il nostro corpo pu\u00f2 trasformarsi e diventare pi\u00f9 sciolto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ma non prendiamoci il vizio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Insomma, il nostro corpo non \u00e8 fatto per stare sempre fermo (anche se il cervello spesso la pensa diversamente!).<br data-start=\"1736\" data-end=\"1739\" \/>Ma neppure per vivere in allerta continua.<br data-start=\"1781\" data-end=\"1784\" \/>Troppo stress, troppo spesso, diventa <strong data-start=\"1822\" data-end=\"1834\">distress<\/strong>: logora il fisico e la mente, come il <em>tran tran<\/em> frenetico di ogni giorno.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"2075\">Lo scopo non \u00e8 eliminarlo, ma imparare a riconoscerlo e a usarlo.<br data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"1974\" \/>Lo yoga serve anche a questo: ci aiuta attraverso la consapevolezza, a riconoscere lo stress che abbiamo davanti e a rispondere nel modo pi\u00f9 sano.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"2075\"><strong>Approfondimenti<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC9954077\/\">Stress: Eight Decades after Its Definition by Hans Selye: \u201cStress Is the Spice of Life\u201d un paper di Rochette, Dogon, Vargely<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Io soffro lo stress Alzati, preparati e fai colazione in fretta e furia, sali in macchina, arriva in ufficio, lavora 8 ore almeno, vai a fare la spesa, vai in palestra, o, perch\u00e8 no, a fare yoga, torna a casa, cucina, pianifica le vacanze, dormi se ci riesci.
