A differenza dei muscoli, che dopo uno sforzo si rilassano, lui non si ferma mai. Anche durante la notte, mentre dormiamo e il metabolismo rallenta, il cervello continua e anzi intensifica il suo incessante lavoro di archiviazione e pulizia.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16\">Volete dargli un po&#8217; di tregua?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16\">Provate a smettere di pensare per dieci secondi.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16\">Ci siete riusciti?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16\">I casi sono due: o avete risposto &#8220;no&#8221;, oppure avete mentito.<\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"18\"><b>Le Vritti: le onde della mente<\/b><\/h4>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18\">Patanjali, negli Yoga Sutra, definisce lo yoga cos\u00ec:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-path-to-node=\"19\">\n<p data-path-to-node=\"19,0\"><i>Yogas citta vritti nirodhah<\/i> (Y.S. 1.2) (Lo yoga \u00e8 la cessazione delle fluttuazioni della mente)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"20\">Ma cosa sono queste fluttuazioni? Sono le onde che la mente produce continuamente (quelle che bruciano gran parte delle nostre energie). Patanjali ne elenca cinque:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-path-to-node=\"21\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21,0,0\"><b>Pramana<\/b> \u2013 conoscenza corretta, ci\u00f2 che percepisci in modo chiaro.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21,1,0\"><b>Viparyaya<\/b> \u2013 percezione errata, convinzione sbagliata.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21,2,0\"><b>Vikalpa<\/b> \u2013 immaginazione, narrativa mentale, ipotesi.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21,3,0\"><b>Nidra<\/b> \u2013 il sonno (che per lo yoga \u00e8 comunque un movimento della mente).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21,4,0\"><b>Smriti<\/b> \u2013 memoria, tracce del passato che riaffiorano.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"22\">Queste fluttuazioni non sono \u201ccattive\u201d (<i>klistha<\/i>) di per s\u00e9. Il problema nasce quando ci dominano. Quando diventano troppo forti ci trascinano via e ci impediscono di vedere la realt\u00e0 ultima delle cose.<\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"23\"><b>Germogli di onde<\/b><\/h4>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"23\">\u00c8 davvero possibile sopprimere queste <i>vritti<\/i> per dare pace al cervello? No. Possono per\u00f2 essere acquietate, ma non &#8220;combattendole&#8221; direttamente.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"23\">Nel nostro subconscio (<em>chitta<\/em>) si accumulano, nel tempo, una quantit\u00e0 enorme di semi (<em>samskara<\/em>): abitudini, reazioni, memorie emotive. Appena trovano terreno fertile, germogliano sotto forma di una vritti: un\u2019onda che increspa la mente.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"23\">Finch\u00e9 questi semi troveranno terreno fertile nella nostra reattivit\u00e0, per le nostre menti affannate non ci sar\u00e0 tregua.<\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"24\"><b>Bruciare i semi e riempire i solchi<\/b><\/h4>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"24\">Quante volte, mentre siamo sul tappetino, la nostra voce interiore dice: &#8220;Mi fanno male i muscoli&#8221;, &#8220;Quanto manca alla fine?&#8221;, &#8220;Oggi sono pi\u00f9 bravo di ieri&#8221;?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"24\">Questi pensieri automatici sono il frutto di vecchie abitudini mentali (le neuroscienze li chiamano <i>circuiti hebbiani<\/i>): sono come solchi profondi dove l&#8217;acqua scorre sempre nello stesso modo.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"25\">Il segreto \u00e8 nello &#8220;spazio&#8221; tra lo stimolo e la risposta.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"25\">Se osserviamo queste fluttuazioni senza dare loro energia, cio\u00e8 senza trasformarle in azioni o giudizi (<i>karma<\/i>), togliamo nutrimento ai semi. \u00c8 cos\u00ec che il vecchio solco, non pi\u00f9 utilizzato, piano piano si riempie di detriti e si chiude.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"25\">I semi, privi di acqua, si seccano e smettono finalmente di germogliare.<\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"25\">L&#8217;universo su un tappetino<\/h4>\n<p>Torniamo al nostro tappetino. Siamo l\u00ec, ad affliggerci perch\u00e8 in adhomuka svanasana abbiamo le spalle affaticate. Il nostro cervello turbina, la sua superficie \u00e8 piena di onde.<\/p>\n<p>Facciamo un respiro e osserviamo la nostra mente. Senza identificarci con lei, ma <span style=\"color: #99ccff;\"><a style=\"color: #99ccff;\" href=\"https:\/\/bhramarayoga.it\/en\/la-mente-per-lo-yoga\/\">guardandola come uno strumento<\/a><\/span> che al momento si sta concentrando sugli input sbagliati. Concentriamoci su di essa, anzich\u00e8 sulla fatica fisica.<\/p>\n<p>Le nostre spalle continueranno a durare fatica, ma non monopolizzeranno la nostra mente. Il nostro cervello turbiner\u00e0 pi\u00f9 lentamente e consumer\u00e0 meno glucosio. Sopratutto, pratica dopo pratica, osservazione dopo osservazione, la nostra attitudine mentale cambier\u00e0.
