YOGA FOR CHILDREN IN FLORENCE AND PONTASSIEVE - GROWING IN HARMONY

Where play meets yoga and imagination takes flight!

Imagine a place where children can transform into trees dancing in the wind, brave lions, or still mountains. Bhramara Yoga offers educational workshops where yoga becomes a magical language, designed to speak to little ones through their favorite tool: play.

An educational and safe approach

Our activities are not a simplification of adult yoga, but pedagogical paths specifically designed for developmental age. Our method integrates specialized training according to the Balyayoga® method with solid expertise in postural gymnastics, ensuring a harmonious, safe, and structured experience.

Every element is adapted to the age of the participants:

  • Playful Asanas: Yoga poses are presented through stories of animals and nature, without any physical forcing.
  • Emotional Management: Moments of relaxation and listening to learn to know oneself and one's potential.
  • Free Creativity: Use of music, storytelling, and artistic activities to stimulate personal expression.
  • Absence of Competition: A protected environment where every child is free to explore without the pressure of performance.

Yoga in English: Learning through play... in two languages!

We combine a passion for yoga with my academic background in Foreign Languages and Literatures. We offer Yoga in English workshops, where English learning occurs naturally through the TPR (Total Physical Response) method.

Children absorb the language through movement and action: they don't sit at desks; they "live" the language with their whole body, making vocabulary memorization immediate and fun.

Benefits for little yogis

Through the consistent practice of Growing in Harmony, children develop:

  1. Body Awareness: Improvement of posture, balance, and coordination.
  2. Concentration: Practical tools to manage school stress and enhance attention.
  3. Relational Skills: Education in empathy, mutual respect, and constructive emotional management.
  4. Self-esteem: Confidence in one's physical and creative abilities in a non-judgmental context.
